Like our art, we are all edited drafts: improvements on what came before us. 

Life is messy, limited, and flawed, full of mistakes and failures. Through the mess, we learn how to edit effectively to make the next draft just a bit better. 

If we keep failing, keep learning from our mistakes, and keep editing, we may or may not ever reach perfection, but it is guaranteed that wherever we do end up will be better than where we started. 

May I seek out growth over perfection.
May I embrace my failures as the next steps in my epic evolution.
